Nokia Vs iPhone - 3 Attributes Shared By The Most Popular Mobile Phone

Both Nokia N95 and iPod iPhone are landmarks in the mobile phone industry. The two giant phones give us abundant imaginations and topics about what kind a phone could be the most popular phone and how our life will be affected. By doing a detailed comparison, I find 3 attributes that are shared by most popular phones.

Powerful functions. A mobile phone is no longer merely a phone that people used to think of it. New functions drive people emptying their pockets to own the devices.

Both N95 and iPhone are features-packed phones. iPhone features double touch, integrated Google map that are new technologies that never appear on a cell before. Function explosion make cell phone more sophisticated and user-friendly, it has already became an essential tool for modern lives.

N95 is more inclined to be a grand and traditional phone. It has built-in GPS, WiFi, Blue tooth, FM, etc and the most important of all, the smart OS and an unparalleled camera which are sought-after by millions of camera phone fanatics. Conversely, iPhone gives us a new fresh feeling of a concept phone.

In terms of attractive and impressive form design, I think N95 outdoes iPhone. N95 touts itself with the unique dual slide on the traditional yet still popular form factor - handy bar. While iPhone looks nothing more than a brick. I mean it is bulk. History of cell development already told us, every fully researched and usability based new design that evoked customer resonance were widely adopted and popularized. Clam shell phone, slide phone, were very hot at a time and caused shopping rush.

Acknowledging this many brands grip a special form design as one of the advantages to compete their rivals. Take Nokia 7900 Prism as a instance. The prism gained large attentions by its prism keyboard and it was marked as a stylish phone. Actually 7900 has no significant improvements than its cousins, though the special design do adds elegance and beauty.

User friendliness. The spirit of a phone. A phone should put user experience as its first and foremost consideration. Nokia believe a phone should give its user the unlimited freedom of communication. That why all Nokia cells have keyboard, for fast text messaging. And this thought is also wonderfully represented in N95 dual slide. iPhone has no keyboard but its dual touch and virtual keyboard fill this void. Also the the screen of a cell is getting bigger and more colorful. This is following the trend of customer based multimedia entertainment. A big and colourful screen is sure to be a unbeaten feature that allowing vivid movie show and fancy games. iPod is the pioneer of this principle by rolling out the 3.5 inch screen device - iphone. And Nokia N95, a 2.6 inch screen is seldom seen in other Nokia series.
